One to One Dog Walks

There are several reasons why some dogs cannot be walked in a group; Too young, too old, injured, nervous, over-boisterous, aggressive, or simply an owner’s preference to have their dog walked alone.

Whistlers, offers 121 Walks which are tailored for dogs who are more comfortable within their own space or need to be alone for other reasons.

These walks are ideal for any dog including puppies, rescue dogs, dogs who have had surgery (on the vet’s advice), or just want to be the centre of attention.

We will take your dog on enriching walks, to areas which are where there are less dogs, so they can feel more relaxed whilst out and about.

Frequently asked questions

My dog is nervous around other dogs, will he be able to be walked by you?

Yes! 121 walks are for those dogs that need to be alone and have a walk without the need to be nervous or fearful of other dogs.

Why does my dog sniff another dog’s bottom?

Dogs sniff rear ends as their way of asking, “Who are you and how have you been?” Canines can find out a whole slew of information from just a whiff. The secretions released by glands in the rump tell other animals’ things like the dog’s gender, diet, and mood. It is sort of like talking with chemicals.
